MiniHab Privacy Policy

Summary

• Your habit data is stored locally on your device and synced via Apple iCloud.
• We do not collect or sell personal data.
• No advertising trackers.
• We do use Sentry crash analytics SDK, only for crash and error diagnostics, configured to track app crashes without logging any personally identifiable information.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the MiniHab iOS app (the “App”). It does not apply to Apple’s services or other third parties that may process data as part of providing their own services.

Information we do not collect

We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers, or browsing history.

We do not operate servers that store your habit data, and we do not receive or store your habit names, descriptions, notes, or completion history on our servers, or third party servers.

App data and iCloud syncing

The App stores data you create (such as habit titles, optional descriptions or notes, and completion history) so that the App can function.

iCloud syncing is enabled by default and is required for the App’s operation. This allows your data to sync securely across your Apple devices using your iCloud account.

The App does not provide an in-app option to disable iCloud. You can manage or disable iCloud access for the App through Apple’s system settings. Apple’s own privacy policies govern how iCloud handles synced data.

Crash reporting and diagnostics

We use Sentry to receive crash reports and error diagnostics so we can identify bugs and improve stability.

• Privacy-focused configuration: We disable default PII collection and do not collect IP addresses.
• No habit content by design: We do not send habit names, descriptions, or any private contents in crash reports.
• Purpose limitation: Diagnostic data is used only to maintain and improve the App, not for advertising or profiling.

Sentry is a third-party service provider. Their handling of diagnostic data is governed by their own privacy policies.

Third-party services

The App relies on the following third-party services to function:

• Apple App Store (distribution, purchases/subscriptions if applicable)
• Apple iCloud (data syncing)
• Sentry (crash and error diagnostics)

Children’s privacy

MiniHab is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address the situation.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
